When researching for wedding favors for my beach themed wedding, I didn’t know where to start. I wanted something that has not been seen over and over at weddings. Then, I found the perfect favor! I found a beautiful mini beach chair and the picture showed seashell soap resting on the chair. There was a tag of the names of the bride and groom and wedding date sticking out of the soap. What a unique idea (and inexpensive too)!
My friend suggested we make the soap ourselves. Once I knew how, I knew I loved it and wanted to learn more. At my wedding the soap looked good enough to eat (and about ten guests actually thought it was candy and took a bite)! Soap making turned out to be a creative and pleasing craft that I never wanted to stop doing. Now, SouthernSoapStore.com has been born to continue my passion for luxurious and indulgent homemade soap.
